Comedian Plugs Comedian Shock

Belated thanks to Roy Hudd for this cheeky mention of Funny Bones in his column for the August 5th edition of Yours Magazine:

It's 50-odd years since he first donned his famous hat on TV, became Samuel Tweet, and caused a sensation on Opportunity Knocks. Fred has done everything there is to do in showbusiness, following in the footsteps of his grandad, music hall comedian Jack Herbert. I can't wait to read his just published autobiography Funny Bones: My Life in Comedy. I wonder if he'll sell me a copy?
Roy's own autobiography, A Fart in a Colander, can be highly recommended - and not just in a spirit of reciprocity.

Buy Freddie Davies's autobiography Funny Bones from amazon (paperback) or direct from Scratching Shed Publishing (paperback or limited edition hardback); read an extract here.
